About Me
Jon is a 40+ year Whatcom County resident, the founding pastor of the Ferndale Alliance Church (32+ years), a professional pianist, and the former mayor and council member with the City of Ferndale. He also served on the Whatcom County Charter Review Commission, and is on the board of Whatcom./Skagit (Self-help) Housing, helping first-time home owners build their first homes. . Jon and Diane are both graduates of Western Washington University, and have raised seven children, and are enjoying a growing number of grand children. As a home-builder, active community leader, and long-term public/elected servant/official, Jon knows well the culture, politics, and opportunities of Whatcom County.
